To Be Empty Headed

As a boy, growing up on the north coast of Iceland I was surrounded by what most people would describe as bleak landscape of low moorland hills surrounding a fjord that stretched far inland and at its mouth opened up to the vastness of the North Atlantic Ocean.

The climate is harsh. Winter storms could rage for days, the north wind would bring sea mist and drift ice from the polar region and fill the fjord so hills and sea would become one white vastness. Summers were often still so the fjord was like a vast mirror and the midnight sun would hover over the north horizon long into the night and birds only briefly became silent and then started their song as the sun rose again.

This environment was my playground and there was scope for plenty of adventures that nowadays would be considered far too dangerous in our risk averse times. But there was plenty of scope for being silent, just look, listen, inhale, touch. Be silent, empty headed and just be. I realise now that this was an essential part of my development as a Trance Medium. What Trance Medium needs is to become empty headed, feel the stillness inside and merge with the vastness of the universe. Then one is able to open up to energies that get drowned out in the whirlwind of our human thoughts. Cultivate stillness - just be.
